Bungling Bert the Burglar
Bert gets himself into BIG trouble because he is always looking for the wrong way to get what he wants. He thinks it is okay to take things that don’t belong to him and to trick people into giving him things. He has a cunning plan in every adventure, which he thinks is his best one yet!

Bounty
Bounty is a pet mouse who Bert rescued. She lives in a model pirate ship, in Bert’s bedroom. She loves sunflower seeds and sitting in Bert’s pocket. Bounty listens to Bert’s plans but she doesn’t like him getting into trouble and she wishes that he would change his ways.

PC Percy and Buster
PC Percy lives in Pebblesea and keeps everyone safe. He knows that Bert is always getting up to mischief and so he keeps his eye on him. He likes to walk around the town with his police dog, Buster, and to check that everything is in good order.
Buster is a German Shepherd dog who belongs to PC Percy. He has a super nose that picks up strong scents and leads PC Percy to trouble makers. He has a gruffly growl and a booming bark, but he is very gentle when he is not on duty.

Mrs Maybury the Mayor
Mrs Maybury lives in Maybury Mansion. She is the Mayor of Pebblesea and likes to drink coffee and wear her golden chain. She has lots of duties and helps the people of Pebblesea.
